Devin Tanguay

Devin Tanguay was born in Montreal and first started writing regularly at the age of sixteen while bored in school. Reading a copy of Dune that hadn't been taken off its lonely carousel in ten years facilitated the pursuit of great influence. At the age of nineteen he stewarded at Arrow River Forest Hermitage and wrote his first novel. At the age of twenty while attending York University film school he wrote a feature length movie script about what may happen in 2012 although not referring to the date specifically. His favorite filmmakers are Hayao Miyazaki, Andrei Tarkofsky and Darren Aronofsky. Although doing well as a freshman he was eager to get out and see the world and so he traveled to the North West Territories and worked at various lodges. Over the years he has taken seasonal work across Canada. More recently he spent a year studying and apprenticing at the Morpheus Clinic for Hypnosis where he received his NGH certification. Devin currently lives alone in the bush working as a lodge keeper on the North Pacific Coast.
