Glenn Haftner

Glenn Haftner grew up in Vancouver BC, one of the most multi-cultural cities in the world. He spent a number of years in the Commercial Drive district--a virtual Mecca for writers, artists, and musicians.

He began writing at a very young age but stopped during the bulk of his teens.

Although it took him time to regain peace, self-control, and a sense of purpose, he overcame adversity. Five years ago he wrote his first poem since youth, the short and evocative piece "The Heist".
