Neruda Nights and Chile DaysFont: Smaller | Default | Larger I was fortunate to spend a week in Valparaiso, Chile where Pablo Neruda lived at one time, and also visited his home on Isla Negra. These lines below were my impressions of the city and the country.
A country awash in paradox – social formality juxtaposed with painted nudes. But beauty abounds - the flowers, their colours reflected by the stucco houses, Isla Negra, its quiet solitude disturbed by the curious and the enchanted. Font: Smaller | Default | Larger Comments glenn haftner |
